Some brands are built in boardrooms. Resham was built in a living room.

Growing up, I watched my mother do something quietly extraordinary. Without a shop, without a brand name, without a single advertisement — she built a loyal circle of women who trusted her eye for fabric, her sense of quality, and her genuine care for every customer. Season after season, they would come to our home, sit together, hold fabric up to the light, and leave with something beautiful. It wasn't just commerce — it was community.

She never called herself a businesswoman. But watching her, I saw something powerful. I saw what it meant to make a woman feel special. To hand her something she would treasure. To build trust one transaction at a time.

Resham is my way of taking everything she built — the love, the quality, the personal touch — and carrying it forward. Not just to the women in our neighbourhood, but to women everywhere across Pakistan.
